The project reinvigorated sneaker culture and featured Abloh's designs that provided deep insight into engineering and were filled with cultural cachet. Abloh played with language and sculptural elements to construct new meaning for the iconic shoes using lettering, ironic labels, collage and sculptural techniques, inspired by
